IDAM: DAP RWTH Aachen and Fraunhofer ILT put metallic 3D printing on the automotive series course

IDAM: As project partners, the experts from ACAM research partners DAP RWTH Aachen and Fraunhofer ILT pave the way for Additive Manufacturing into automotive series production.

“Industrialization and Digitization of Additive Manufacturing (AM) for Automotive Series Processes” is what the IDAM joint project stands for. The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen and the Chair for Digital Additive Production DAP at the RWTH Aachen are two of the twelve project partners who support the project goal of integrating metallic 3D printing for the first time into an industrialized series process in the automotive industry.
