Networking Day Additive Manufacturing for ACAM Japanese Members

The ACAM Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing gathered together with its Japanese members in Krefeld, Germany, on July 10 2018 in order to exchange ideas and experiences traversing the field of Additive Manufacturing. The event was hosted by OKUMA Europe GmbH.

While the ACAM team presented the current research developments of the institutes of the RWTH Aachen Campus for industry application, the Japanese members had a valuable contribution by giving their point of view on the challenges of the integration of additive technologies in the Japanese market.

In addition, Ingo Meyer, Senior Vice President Sales of OKUMA Europe GmbH, introduced the current activities of OKUMA and Seiei Yamamoto, supervisor of the technology department of OKUMA Corporation Japan offered a shop floor visit.
