ACAM Community gathers for the 2024 Semiannual Meeting

Aachen, Germany – April 24, 2024

ACAM would like to sincerely thank all members and research partners for their valuable participation in the ACAM Semiannual Meeting 2024 last week in Aachen. The active engagement and contributions of the participants contributed significantly to the success of this meeting.

A special thanks goes to Business Member Nikon for their collaboration in organizing this year’s event. Their support and partnership greatly enhanced the overall experience. The program featured a variety of activities, including project updates, community news and interactive workshops focused on the future direction of the AM community and strategies to advance additive manufacturing. Of particular note was Nikon’s presentation, which provided fascinating insights into their state-of-the-art facilities and upcoming initiatives in Aachen, providing a glimpse into the future of additive manufacturing.

A highlight of the event was the addition of GKN Powder Metallurgy as a new Professional Member. GKN’s membership promises to further enrich our community with their expertise and innovation-driven approach and strengthen our joint efforts. Special thanks also go to Aconity3D GmbH for their warm hospitality to our Steering Committee, accompanied by an informative tour of their production facilities.
